Slackware64-current on x86_64

user at machine:~/DriveWire/native/Linux/amd64$ ldd ./librxtxSerial.so
         linux-vdso.so.1 (0x00007ffc307b4000)
         libpthread.so.0 => /lib64/libpthread.so.0 (0x00007f182283e000)
         libc.so.6 => /lib64/libc.so.6 (0x00007f182265f000)
         /lib64/ld-linux-x86-64.so.2 (0x00007f1822ab5000)
There you go, one 64bit Serial library. I have a symlink for amd64 that 
points to x86_64 and I still get this error:

INFO  [dwserver-19   ] DriveWire Server v4.3.3o starting
FATAL: UseRXTX is set, but RXTX native libraries could not be loaded
FATAL: Please see
