Not quite... DirectX 9 had several features bolted on to it via DLLs and for whatever reason, Microsoft does not include them by default in Windows installs. To get them, you just do a google search for DirectX Web and download and run the installer from Microsoft's web page. Don't forget to uncheck the 'Install Bing Bar' checkbox. The installer will download and properly install the missing DLLs. No reboot is even required after installation.

Could be a DirectX issue I will look into that, and see If I can figure out how to get it installed. Supposedly the latest DirectX is backwards compattible (which I have) but I have another game that won't work in directX 9 mode, only 10 and above. I remember reading somewhere how to fix that issue, Something about removing the newer version, installing an old 9 and then updating it to the current.

>Wait... do you have DirectX 9 runtime installed? VCC uses it for keyboard input. Some Win10 installations only support later DirectInput and you may have to install the DirectX9 runtime, which is basically a few DLLs. It should be available at MS downloads.
