[Coco] EOU Nitros-9 question

I am starting to explore the EOU NitrOS-9 on my new-to-me CoCo 3, souped up with a 6309 processor and 2MB RAM (Thanks, Mark!).

Should I do the double clock speed poke prior to running the EOU NitrOS-9, or does EOU NitrOS-9 do that automatically when it starts?
