Ed, what is the exact size of the image?

Let me think aloud here and please correct me if I am wrong. If we
assume a collection of 256 DECB floppy images at the end of the image
file, standard size 35 tracks and 18 sectors, that will be 256*35*18 =
161280 sectors.

A file size of 336986112 (VHD header omitted) would with 512-byte
sectors hold 658176 sectors. The DECB floppies would then start at
sector 658176-161280 = 496896 = $079500.
