It appeared to be a loop tape, like a radio station cart (or 8-track, I guess). Not at all what I expected. And of course there is a demo on YouTube.

Didn’t the Colecovision Adam computer use something like this? Or maybe just a tape deck you could control FF RW REC PLAY?
