Walter,
To specifically answer your question, you will need several modules in your boot file and will need
to be able to start a VDG window.
You will need at a minimum: rbdw, dwio, x0, CoVDG.
Presumably you can read your disk on DW as you can try to start Carmen on Drivewire. That means you
have access to the DW drives.
I don't know what type of screen you boot NitrOS-9 into 32 character, 40, or 80. If you don't know
how to start a VDG screen, you will need to boot into a VDG (32 col) Term. You can easily start in
an 80-col Term and use xmode to convert a /W# to a VDG screen, start an immortal shell in it, and
then run Carmen from that VGD window.
Now you can try booting from a Game drive mounted in DW or you can boot on your Coco or other
hardware and then switch to the DW drive. For that matter, you can create a game directory including
Carmen on a drive mounted on your Coco and forget Drivewire.
