Another option that I personally use is dosbox turbo
Just install dosbox then put a Coco emulator in the C: directory and run it
I do this on my android tablet to run both a coco3 and coco2 emulator

I was thinking retroarch was a repackaging of mame. I guess that's a
misperception.
Does it use the same roms?
I can't seem to get mame to recognize any color computer roms.
Mame --help tells me ~/mame/roms is the place to put the images. Is that
not right?
