I've "inherited" an original DE2 that was bought by a colleague and left 
behind when he moved OS. He designs ASICs these days; he's probably 
worked on single HDL files larger than the DE2 can fit, so I doubt he'll 
ever be interested in getting it back. ;)

Incidentally, he's also the keeper of my three DE1's that I'm yet to 
take delivery of. Last time he was out here he had room to bring just 
one of the 4 I ordered and had sent to him.
