I agree with u fully. It's just my budget dictates the motel 6.   On the positive side those motel 6 rates may prompt a few people who were on the fence because of the expense. If the lower motel rate gets a few more visitors then it would seem like a win for everyone

Please also note that booking at the 'official' hotel and claiming
the "CoCoFEST! rate" is helpful to the club for planning, future
negotiations of rates, etc. Plus, it is absolutely the most convenient
place to stay both to attend the event itself and to socialize with
other attendees.
