[Coco] VGA Questions??????????

I have no personal experience with Roy's VGA adapter, but it is my
understanding that it adapts CoCo 3 RGB output to VGA. The CoCo 1 has no
such RGB output, therefore it is incompatible with this solution.

The Switcharoo as well as Richard Lorbieski's RGB to SCART cable are also
intended only for the CoCo 3. If you do not have a monitor or TV with a
SCART input, you would need a SCART-to-HDMI adapter.

A joint project between me, Ed Snider, and Steve Spiller called CoCoVGA is
compatible only with some CoCo 1, 2, and Dragon systems, including the F
board CoCo 1. It plugs in in the same socket where your video chip is
currently installed. You can find out more at www.cocovga.com. I
understand that commercial VGA-to-HDMI solutions exist that work with
CoCoVGA, but have not tried any.

As far as I know, there are no solutions which provide common output types
which work on both the CoCo 1 and CoCo 3 except for composite output or the
RF (tuned to channel 3 or 4).

All of these (except Roy's, I think) can be found on this page:

Hope this helps,
Brendan
