[Coco] Example of MIDI to CoCo converter I'm working on

Hi Again,

Another audio demo…

The same MIDI file played back using John Linville's Game Master Cartridge.

This is an example video showing the output of a MIDI file (Riders on the Storm by the Doors) converted with a tool I'm working on that let's you select two tracks from a MIDI file and converts it to notes and timing info to be played on the Game Master Cartridge.

In this format it uses every 2nd vsync IRQ for playback and very little CPU usage when it does get used. It currently only uses two voices even though the Cartridge can play 3 voices and 1 noise channel for some crappy drum sounds. It also supports volume control for each channel which I still need to implement...

I'm looking forward to playing with Ed Snider's CoCo PSG cartridge.

To read more about the tool and it's progress head over to the CoCo forum:

I've added some video effects to show it is multitasking. I want to expand the output of the program so it can be used with John Linville's Game Master Cartridge and hopefully also work with Ed Snider's CoCo PSG cartridge.
