The CoCo plug 'n Power has been providing my BED (Burglar Entertainment Device) service for about ten (10) years since my mechanical timer died.
It ran for about five (5) years without needing to have the time reset through about a dozen power failures and I accepted the different turn on and turn off times as DST came and went each year. (Random option selected in the Plug 'n Power device.)
When the power failed and the battery was dead I had to get my CoCo 2 out to reset the time and redefine the devices controlled.
I have one X10 code set in four devices, the main light was replaced by a LED light bulb last year. The second light is a new addition which will get a LED one when I go to the store.
Fourteen (14) watts for the two lights plus 40 watts for the Lava Lamp monitor (the 40 watts cannot be reduced). I have a X10 module that sounds off four times when the lights come on. It can control most AC / DC circuits. The CoCo Plug 'n Play controller says 2.5 watts on the bottom. Three other lights are controlled by the remaining three switches on the controller.
My X10 Infrared controller died and there is no acceptable replacement, I had ~ 12 different controlled devices.
