Barry
You inetd is different from mine. Can you please email me your inetd on a .os9
disk so I try and see if that resolves my issue?

Maybe I should have asked for xmode /n1, but anyway, here is all the relevant
info I could think of from my system, which works. My system boot from my CoCo
SDC. I am running NitrOS9 6809 Level 2 V3.3.0. My inetd works properly, it
does output the following text on startup:
Reading line: 6809 telnet protect banner, login,
Send listen
Reading line: 8809,httpd,
Send listen
Got netpath and setup ports
SS.SSig on NetPath
Reading data from netpath
SS.SSig on NetPath
It outputs the following additional text on a successful telnet connection:
SS.SSig on NetPath
Reading data from netpath
1 6809 xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx
Got token 1
To space
To Non-Space
Got request for port 6809
Opened inetd.conf ok
Reading line: 6809 telnet protect banner, login
Reading port 6809 Comparing to port 6809
Got proc and params to fork
Turning on PD.EKO and PD.ALF
Duping paths
Proc forked
SS.Sig on NetPath
Reading data from netpath
SS.Sig on NetPath
