Hello, I am trying to acquire legal permission to distribute copyrighted software. The software in question is the versions of Microsoft BASIC written for the following computers which are 30+ years old. I wish to distribute this software for educational purposes so that people can learn about the history of software and computers. I would be happy to include a statement and credit Microsoft for this if you wish. The software I wish to distribute is the Microsoft BASIC for the follow computer systems:

Tandy Color Computer 1
Tandy Color Computer 2
Tandy Color Computer 3
Tandy Model 1
Tandy Model 2
Tandy Model 3
Tandy Model 4
Tandy Model 16
Tandy Model 6000

I do not believe that this software is a marketable product for your company any longer, however, it is possible that you may be able to derive some public relations and advertising benefits from it’s release to the public. I look forward to hearing your decision. Thank you.
