Any CoCo Keyboard can be repaired with tons of work.
Needed, Wire wrap wire, some way to connect to the keyboard input and the CoCo Keyboard maze document.
1. Remove the unusable mylar completely.
2. Wire each row together.
3. Wire each column together.
4. Build some way to connect to the row and column to the CoCo.
I built a keyboard using this method ~ 1980 for my FLEX system using a SIM-1 and a largely ignored IC that outputs the key presses on a serial line which I fed into a 6551. After debouncing it worked great. All the keys were held in place from above, I have not looked to see if the CoCo keys are held this way.
If not then a predrilled PC board would be needed.
