[Coco] Before I try to reinvent the wheel, has anyone made a "boot to coco" raspberry pi system?

This project seems doable.
In general, it seems possible to:
1. Get a Raspberry pi (with Debian or Ubuntu)
2. Install an emulator on Debian
3. Set up a Coco ROM in it
4. Set the OS to boot straight to the emulator
5. Release the image file so others can burn an SD card for themselves
I've looked a tiny bit at the Retro Pie arcade system which gave me this idea. This seems a little tricky (I know very little Unix) but possible. Does anyone know if this has been tried or completed before? I figure the Commodore 64 crowd might have already done this, but google didn't help much.
Thanks all!
John
