Hello Bill.
Hmm I always wondered why almost any item I looked at coming from Canada was expensive.  I couldn't help but think the seller might be padding.  It's good you mentioned this.

I think the seller uses the 'shipping cost' to help pad his profit in case the bids stay too low.

He is not padding the profits.  He said Priority Mail.  That's an "If it fits it ships" box.
and the size box he will need is $17.  I know, I have done a number of them recently.
But it's an auction and there is an automatic bid set up so no one is going to get it at
that price.  I expect to see it top $100 before the auction is over.
