Someday in the distant future, I would like the buy another CoCo1 (want to leave my 4k one pristine in the box) w/ all the matching peripherals of the day, including the gray MPI and 2 full-height floppy drives that stand on their side and the matching controller. Then MAX it out. I would want to get one of those nice gray upgraded keyboards, composite output, 6309 CPU / max memory (seems like there was a 128k upgrade for the CoCo1 that did bank switching at one time?) / and whatever else was ever available for it, back then and today.

For some reason, I think it would be cool to have at least one of the drives working for the full nostalgic effect but for the other one have one of those “usb stick floppy drive emulators”… if one could be found that was compatible w/ the old CoCo controller. But I would also want a dedicated CoCoSDC for it too.
