Luis, the "Software" hires is just that... software, and does not need to be implemented as it's not hardware and cannot be emulated. It's a subroutine you load from disk and use in your own programs. It uses the standard joystick port There's no way I know of to implement this in VCC as it's Coco software and runs on the Coco and can be used in VCC as software without modification.

I'm doing the joystick part Hi-res, and modify the config to be able to handle the options that I will put, here you can see a sample:Https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B7ncKOqaWo-qeVc4RUFxeGN5V3MUnder joisticks you can choose"Standard""Tandy HiRes""CC-Max""HiRes Software" http://members.optusnet.com.au/nickma/ProjectArchive/hires.htmlI think a simple approach and putting the joysticks at 640x400 will not be enough, right?Programs that use the Tandy adapter, I think they expect to check the tape port and do the evaluation (not yet the method)Programs that can use the coco-max cartridge, expect to receive the information through a port (not yet the mechanism)With the "HiRes Software" I thought that I simply did not use the software and put the joysticks to 640x400, although this has to be improved, I imagine that it will have to be placed according to the current resolution of the screen---------------------------------------------------------------------------------________________________________De: Coco <coco-bounces at maltedmedia.com> en nombre de Luis Fernández <luis46coco at hotmail.com>Enviado: viernes, 14 de abril de 2017 03:56 p.m.Para: CoCoList for Color Computer EnthusiastsAsunto: Re: [Coco] Vcc Joystick Hi resIt's true even the cartridge for coco-max had a single mouseBut for the software joystick option with the interpolation driver you can use the two joystick---------------------------------------------------------------------------------________________________________De: Coco <coco-bounces at maltedmedia.com> en nombre de Tim Fadden <t.fadden at cox.net>Enviado: viernes, 14 de abril de 2017 03:42 p.m.Para: CoCoList for Color Computer EnthusiastsAsunto: Re: [Coco] Vcc Joystick Hi resI believe on a real coco, you can only have one hi-res joystick/mouse ata time. Just something to keep in mind. The hires adapter has a lead that plugs into the cassette port, andanother that can be put in either the left, or right joystick port. Thenthe hires device plugs into the adapter. At least that is how the Tandyone works. Don't remember for sure on the CC-Max, although I had thatone to, with the mini hocky puck anti-theft device. he he heOn 4/14/2017 12:26 PM, Luis Fernández wrote:> I think the options> "Standard"> "Tandy HiRes"> "CC-Max"> "Software" (emulates interpolation without driver)> Look better on a pull-down under each joystick>>>> --------------------------------------------------------------------------------->> ________________________________> De: Coco <coco-bounces at maltedmedia.com> en nombre de Tim Fadden <t.fadden at cox.net>> Enviado: viernes, 14 de abril de 2017 09:56 a.m.> Para: CoCoList for Color Computer Enthusiasts> Asunto: Re: [Coco] Vcc Joystick Hi res>> On 4/13/2017 8:37 PM, Bill Pierce via Coco wrote:>> Luis, the hires interface connects to the cassette port, not the serial port.>> In software, it would be just a matter of resolution translation and probably pretty easy to implemenet. These were added by Joe, but never completed. At the moment, the functions are disabled. It would be nice to see these joystick hires interfaces implemented.B.P.In order to integrate the high-resolution joystick I need some infoI have the TANDY Joystick hires, and as far as I understand, it connects in addition to the joystick port also to the serial port where it possibly obtains power and processes some information through the serial port, it may be that activate the line in of the serial having thus 64 +64 values or sends and in the sequence of bytes indicating the position with a resolution of 256 or more, I do not have the infoI also have to implement the coconut max cartridge (I have it) but this if it is internal, per cartridgeThere is another one, by software, that I think I remember, by means of mathematical interpolations, I do not know if the project is finished and I get to know it, if it works in the emulator. All the info you can send me, I would be very grateful---------------------------------------------------------------------------------Making CoCoDskUtil V 1.X.X, Scan magazines and organize maltedmediahttp://cococoding.com/cocodskutil/ Thank Aaron Wolfehttp://www.tandycoco.com<http://www.tandycoco.com/> Thank Brian BlakeMy personal blog: http://www.luis45ccs.blogspot.com,Excuse my English, I use google translator, my language is Spanish, I'm Spanish but I live in Venezuela----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Coco mailing listCoco at maltedmedia.comhttps://pairlist5.pair.net/mailman/listinfo/coco>>>> --> Tim Fadden> "Hey Schmidt, don't forget about the six P's.> Proper Preparation Prevents Piss-Poor Performance!">>> --> Coco mailing list> Coco at maltedmedia.com> https://pairlist5.pair.net/mailman/listinfo/coco>--Tim Fadden"Hey Schmidt, don't forget about the six P's.Proper Preparation Prevents Piss-Poor Performance!"--Coco mailing listCoco at maltedmedia.comhttps://pairlist5.pair.net/mailman/listinfo/coco--Coco mailing listCoco at maltedmedia.comhttps://pairlist5.pair.net/mailman/listinfo/coco-- Coco mailing listCoco at maltedmedia.comhttps://pairlist5.pair.net/mailman/listinfo/coco
