I think zipster was refering to the bus contention lines, I assume.
Mapping to memory is neat, but still fixes the packet in memory.  just
grabbing bytes from a autoimctement i/o reg is faster and more general
purpose friendly.  What platform gives us speed and an interface to layers
0-4.5 ?
