[Coco] NitrOS9 LEVEL 2 running on multicomp

Windows 7 Backup and Restore, in the Control Panel.

I have a 1TB USB drive currently in use for backups, using my N.A.S was just too slow. Powered by the USB port, I have three, two for Video.

My W7 HTPC uses a second drive in the tower case and does the backup automatically Saturday at 7 PM. The crucial files needed for my HTPC operation are saved at ~ 3:50 PM on my N.A.S. By SyncBack Free after program listings are downloaded at 3:46 PM and new captures scheduled.

I did not have to install any OS, the restore software read the image on the USB drive and even though my system disk now was stolid state and larger the restore partition and the latest system image were loaded and I was done except for the second partition which I use SyncBack Free for which was also on the same USB drive. I chose to start over with a clean partition and get the old files from my N.A.S..

There are so many free backup solutions and paid ones that I have used over the years, most of the time the backups never have needed to be used.

This was the most needed and it worked great. Just like a time machine that took me back 10 days.

I finally was able to reinstall the drivers for my USB to RS232 serial cables so I'm back up communicating with my SBC computers! Yea!
