Thanks Bill, that is an ambitious undertaking!
I downloaded and installed VCC 2.01 and read the doc. I was particularly impressed how you hijacked the KB LEDs to show disk activity :-). Slowly, but surely, I am getting more involved with this emulator. My next step (I was already successful in writing '10 PRINT "HELLO WORLD"') is to connect it to DW4.
Regards, Salvador

Salvador, Vcc was originally written in Visual C++ 6 (Win 95/98). It has been converted to Vs C++ 2015, but the code is still in old Vs 6 format. We want to bring the code up to date in a more portable format as we hope to seperate VCC from windows & directx and make a version that runs on all platforms or at least a version for each of Windows, Linux, & Mac (maybe Android too). We are also working on dual VHDs (done), & hires adapter support. We are also isolating the code for all the different chips in the Coco, therefore making them changable. This may result in recreating the Coco 1 & 2 as well as the Dragon. It also prepares Vcc for future enhancements. Not to mention the bugs that are being fixed in the process :-)

What constitutes the rewrite? Nothing was changed in the cmd line structure (that I know of).At the moment, there is a lull in the VCC development as the 2 programmers working on it have been busy, so until they can get back at it, it will remain as it is for now. We have a massive rewrite setting in the wings that will be the first step in moving to a multi platform build. That build is setting idle until it can be finished up. Hopefully, the programmer who is doing the conversion will be able to get back at it soon, but his job has cut his time from being able to work on it.
