If he has the printed manuals for a particular OS-9 version then that information will be useful.
In any case the support here is for NitrOS-9.
Yes there are some people here like me that have a great knowledge of OS-9 but discussion of OS-9 is not welcome.
Getting a person up to speed with NitrOS-9 is one of our great failures IMHO. We could have done a horrible miserable job and it would be better.
I knew more about OS-9 before I first saw the letters "OS-9" in "68 Micro Journal'. So my path was very easy.
The comment that the files on http://www.colorcomputerarchive.com/ do not match Tandy's original disks has been said by the site owner to be incorrect.
If a file is suspect I am willing to check it, but the exact disk link is needed.
Yes there are some funny OS-9 disks on RTSI and elsewhere.
