Make sure your modern tv is set to antenna and not cable, analog channel 3/4. Otherwise could be something wrong with the tv or coco.

AFAIK all modern TV sets (LCD etc) can still pick up the old channels like 3 and 4.
But I bet you can get a tube color TV for free - thrifts won't take them where I am.
Try Craig's List or Freecycle etc.

putting out *analog* TV signals. They aren't compatible.
You may need something to convert the analog TV signal to composite
video and feed that into a composite in jack on the TV. One cheap way
is to pick up an old VCR.
