[Coco] VCC & Drivewire using new disk image

Paulo, the newer versions of VCC have the "Becker Port" in cart format (becker.dll) and have to be inserted into the MPI, which add anothe menu selection to the "Cartridge" menu when inserted.
After much thought and to get "true" emulation, the next release will most likely move the becker port back into the main VCC module. There's even thoughts of "somehow" using the emulated "serial port" as the becker port making regulat NitrOS9_dw work with VCC. It will most likely (if it's done at all) use the beckerport addresses externally, therefore using the TCP mode of dw4, but as far as software goes, DW4 software will use the serial port like normal. We're not sure we can work this in yet, but it has been discussed.

Awesome information Bill.I used that starter kit because the other versions of VCC I tried didn'thave the Drivewire integration option on the configuration. I am not sureif that is now built-in, but I saw it didn't work..Only with that version from the bundle I could make it work...Thanks againPauloOn Thu, Jun 16, 2016 at 10:11 AM, Bill Pierce via Coco <coco at maltedmedia.com> wrote:> Paulo, I'm not sure but I would think you need to format the disk image> first.
