Wait, SHF, did you say VB6? I thought VCC was written in C++. If it is in VB6, the task of moving it to the latest VS would be a Herculean task. Thanks, Salvador

You have not understood what Bill wrote just below and before.
There are massive dependencies on parts of Windows.
They are working to replace these dependencies and allow VCC to run on Linux , Mac and other NON Windows systems.
It is a large task and may take a long time to complete. Bill says just below the end of Summer.
I am not part of the project but my estimate is a year or so for the initial attempt. That depends on the needed programming talent being available and willing to work on the project.
The CoCo world has not had the talent to do things like this for decades and many other things. The [CoCo] world is increasing in numbers and one person on Facebook was able to port the VB6 VCC code to the latest Visual Studio version in just a few hours. But his interest in porting VCC to other platforms is suspect in my mind as he is a Windows person. Those are bitterly hated here, I was told to kill myself and nobody said that was incorrect. In fact many people added me to their kill list.

>I downloaded and tested on my Mac, only 1 game so far...I had to change to drive 5 before I found stuff...in any case it does appear to be working fine. However, I'm a bit confused. I was under the impression the goal was to port it to Mac. This is still a windows app running in Wine. The work done to do this is great and it looks good, I'm just trying to understand where it's going. I run VCC on my Mac by loading real windows in a Parallels VM which works fine. Is there plans to make it a Native Mac OS and or Linux App?
