[Coco] CoCo3 FPGA project analog boards

If I understand what Gary has posted so far, it sounds like his CoCo3FPGA code will be updated for the new Analog Board, and it will use the memory on the Analog Board first, and the original memory on the DE-1 board with become the top-most 512K. Am I right on this? 

If this is so, then I'm sure that the Analog Board memory will all be fast enough for the DE-1 to run at full speed, right? Am I right to conclude that if someone had a DE-1 with the "wrong" memory chip, they could still use the Analog Board to add 4MB of full speed memory, and simply not use the slower 512K on the DE-1?

What Dave said with the RAM issue is the only difference I know of. 
I just bought a DE1 from Dave and it looks like a new board, I’d 
definitely see if you can get one through him to be sure it will work. 

At his prices the refurbished boards are a bargain. The DE1 is still available 
new from Digikey for about $160, though the RAM may have to be replaced as 
mentioned. I’m sure either Dave or I can replace the RAM chip if anyone 
needs that done.
