Robert, he is referring to the 6309 Vcc starter kits I have on my site, not the nitros9 repo.

What do you
mean when you say you downloaded NitrOS-9 6309? What was the url and
if you did
not get source code, what did you get?
The descriptor should be labeled ddh0.dd
for a hard drive. VCC only supports
one hard drive so what do you mean by
drive0? The DW descriptor will be labeled
x0.dd and Boot means nothing in this
context.
By rights, you either got source code or a system disk. If it was a
system disk,
the modules should have been part of the OS9Boot file if you
picked the required
disk image. If not, look in the NITROS9/6309L2/MODULES/RBF
directory on the disk.
