[Coco] OT - Kid gets arrested for building a clock

But is it? Kids this age are making bombs in other countries. And fighting
in wars. It's cultural. That doesn't make it right, but, it is a fact.

In this day and age, we've heard all the threats from ISIS, Al Qaeda, North
Korea; you name it, we've been threatened by it. We've experienced the 9/11
attacks and other attacks fron around the world. We've seen movies and TV
shows with devices that look eerily similar to this young man's blow the
loving hell out of a building.

Can we honestly expect someone who knows nothing about electronic devices
to not think the worst at first glance? I'd be willing to bet most people
would look at the RBG2VGA and think it was part of a nuke.

Are all of the preconceived notions fair to this young man? No. But nobody
should be surprised by the reactions of the police or school. Fear is now
ingrained in our society. The hard part will be removing it.
