 Acting like this IS potentially dangerous. Persecuting minorities like this is sure to create exactly the kind of radicals that we are afraid of. There is no excuse for this extreme behavior. Unfortunately, I can also predict that most likely any attempt to sue the school or the police will fail. This is due to the anti lawsuit mentality that has sprung up. A lot of that originates from propaganda campaigns from companies and local governments that do not want to be sued. I predict that it is possible that despite all the media coverage, this will not even make into the local court and will be thrown out on a technicality. Unless the family is rich, they will not be able to afford pursuing this legally in a higher court. The local cities lawyers will undoubtably stall and draw out any legal case, knowing full well that the family will have to give up for lack of $. The police will most likely stop just short of laughing in their face.

 I take offense any time any person of any race, color, creed, or religion is treated unfairly, because I recognize the truth in the statement below.

First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out—

Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Jew.
