Agreed, DE-1 users are limited to revision 13.1 so I'm curious to see
if this is true. Also, with the DE-1 at least, I've been able to
generate 1280x1024 @ 16 out of 4096 colors with no problem. The
limiting factor is the memory for the display area. The DE-1, only
having 512K, limits the colors at higher resolutions. Going to 2 pixels
per byte, higher resolutions can be achieved quite easily.
