Sean, check out the user manual. There are adjustments in the PC Mode selection of the menu. You can adjust the "clock" and "phase" of the signal. You should be able to get the menu screen on the TV even with the computer connected and on. It probably defaults to "auto adjust", but you might try adjusting the clock and phase.
