True, as long as you are not trying to boot off the applications disk. You need to copy the program to a working bootable disk that is setup for Drivewire. There seems to be some difference between a "normal" Drivewire boot disk and a Beckerport Drivewire boot disk. A regular Drivewire disk does not appear to boot on a Beckerport system.
