[Coco] NitrOS-9 (BASIC09) Error 163

I'm playing around with BASIC09, working on a program that I'm fully 
aware would be better done in C.  Anyway, I'm editing the source code in 
TS-Edit (with the vi patch) and loading it into BASIC09.  As it loads, 
it gives me an error 163, which doesn't appear any of the error code 
lists I can find.  Does anybody have a clue what this might mean?  I can 
share the code if it matters.  It's a program to convert 4-gray-level 
PGM files to 4-color .VEF.
