Thanks for the clarification, Mark. I meant to question Stephen Fischer’s account by asking for some proof of “Little” John Turner’s death. Their last known location was around Wattsville, Alabama. Searching for a “John Turner Obituary” in Google around that area turns up nothing that would indicate he died within the last couple of years.
