[Coco] Coco Joystick port issue.

Hi,

When I try to read the left joystick port's X and Y values in Basic I get 
nothing.  The right port works fine.

I can play pacdude and pacdude2 with no problem with the left joystick, so 
the X and Y do work, and under Basic09 I can read the X and Y values just 
fine on the left joystick port.

I've tried it in Extended Color Basic, Disk Extended Color Basic, and 
SDC-DOS 1.2, with and without anything (including the MPI) plugged in.

Any suggestions on what may be going on would be greatly appreciated.
