This question is 5 hours old, I expected an answer before this to be posted.

I tried to find the device descriptor description to suggest an answer but failed and I had to go out.

DriveWire gurus out there... How can I modify a /xx device descriptor to make it access more DriveWire drives. I want to make /x4 through /x9 device descriptors. I tried using ded to modify a copy of the descriptor (nam and drv) and it loads fine but locks up the machine when you try to access the drive. I also tried using dmode to change the nam and drv options but that doesn't work either. Any ideas?
