What was the mistake? Can you provide a photo?

If i understood you, you installed a male header pin where it was supposed to be a female header right?

So in this case using a plier to pull each pin while you melt the solder with the iron is the easiest way. Then with solder wick you clean up the holes. You remove pin by pin this way.

But i didn't get is that everything is on my page including the photos of assembled boards.
