Hi Tormod and all NitrOS-9 6309 L1 Coco 2 Contributors,
I have nos96309l1v030300coco2_6309_cocosdc.dsk operational on a Coco 2 Kit version! I setup a blank SD Card with a startup.cfg file pointing to the now named cocosdc.dsk file to load on power-up. With the SD Card inserted in the CoCoSDC controller, I turned on the power to the Coco 2 and I was greeted with the 'Nitros9 Boot' message with all the other startup messages displaying on the tiny 32x16 character display! Ultimately, I was greeted with the 'OS9:' Prompt!
I am running a command file now that disassembles Basic09 then calls itself for a constant simple burn-in program. It runs over and over until I hit reset or I hit break. I love it! Now I can start playing with 6309 stuff! It's not a 6309 Coco 3, but it is an excellent beginning. Now I don't have to wonder if a program is a 6809 program or a 6309 program! Whoo-Hoo!
Let me know what parts of the new NitrOS-9 6309 L1 OS you need me to test.
This Coco is an RF only unit at the moment so Drivewire testing is out for the moment since I have to use the TV in the living room and it's a long way to my laptop. Once I get long enough cables, I'll let you know how Drivewire works as well. Now to collect a some disk file images together. Thanks a bunch for the NitrOS-9 6309 L1 Coco 2 version. I really appreciate it. Now I need to order a composite video output module for my 6309 Coco 2. I reckon this will be the Coco 2 I will put all the boards in I bought from Mark Marlette at the 2015 CoCoFEST! Well, I'll let you go for now. Take care my friends.
