Perfection doesn't exist I would be happy with something that actually works instead of just showing garbage on the screen which is what that current app does, vcc nor mess are perfect but at least they do work

I am with the apparent majority here, and likely the senior member of this
group. This group is for the community of us who support the 6x09
machines, mainly coco's but there is a scattering of other machines
represented here, such as the Dragon, and even the 8 bit Atari's with a
6809 plugin.

We all get testy at times, and you've seen me do it just this week. In my
defense, I am trying to run down a couple problems, one of which is the
megaread speed I am getting as its slowed by nominally 7 seconds in the
last 15 years or so. So am I, but at 80, WYSIWYG. The other one I just
found the answer to by inspecting the scf.d file in the defs directory.
The default build of the /t2 and /t3 descriptors neglects it, but it is
also intended for rs-232 deluxe packs that do not have DCD/DCS swapped,
which is what it takes to make the "7 wire protocol" function correctly.
But that is just fog in the air, not worth a bucket of warm spit to
anybody but me.

You come roaring in here with a commercial software should be perfect
attitude and are trying to apply that attitude as if this is commercial
for sale software. This it is not. Commercial sw is generally far less
perfected than sw that is audited by probably (in this group) by as many
as 50 competent coders, something I would like to think I am a member of
occasionally.

That attitude doesn't fly at all well here. Since I run linux here, no
winderz allowed on the property, I will use a quote from Linus Torvolds
who was replying to someone bitching because something wasn't working:
Patches welcome.

IOW, take you attitude someplace else. Said another way, put up or shut
up, and ask politely if any progress has been made.

IMO, an emulator, any of them, is not a coco, and I have several of the
real thing, so I don't use one, and have zero interest in running an
emulator. When I write code, it gets tested to the 9's on real hardware.
