I had the same experience, but it is actually, the upgrade 7.1 of eagle. It does several passes in memory to route the board. After that is done you can choose the layout you want, and then you see the tracks.

strange but understandable, in memory is faster?

Just wait until it does all of his passes and you will see the result.
