[Coco] CocoSDC first time startup

Its dead when plugged directly into the coco3 side port.
All dip switches are left/off, and the jumper is set for DRQ.

The led comes on for about 3/4 second when powered up, then goes out 
forever.  With or without either of the two supposedly blank 2Gb sd cards 
latched in.

Inspected with a 16mm projection lens for a magnifying glass, there are no 
shorts, and all solder points appear to have a fillet of solder 
surrounding the pin.  I have a scope, 2 of them in fact, both 100 MHz dual 
trace, one is digital, but I'd need a schematic & chip docs to trace it 
intelligently.

Have I set that 3 pin jumper correctly?  The other position is auto, but 
what that means I do not recall reading about.
