Camillus, I'm not that familiar with Flex.  Perhaps someone else may be 
able to help you on that.  I have only seen mention of the 6502 / 6809 
translator.  I have never seen or had a copy of it.  In actuality, the 
similarities are so strong between the two CPUs that it would be quite 
easy to manually translate code from the 6502 to the 6809.  Going the 
other way, however (6809 to the 6502) is a little more difficult but 
doable.  The index registers and stack pointer are only 8 bits (big 
bummer for me because I learned assembly on the 6809 and then had to 
write code for the 65C02 some years later).  There's only one 
accumulator, pushing/pulling registers from the stack is not as robust, 
it lacks many of the 6809 addressing modes, etc.
