For me, mostly for nostalgia and games. Can you mange finances and do other serious stuff on a CoCo, of course. Is it feasible, not always. For example, I'm not going to do my finances on the CoCo because I have many things going on when I do. I log into my bank, use my Checkbook balancing software. I my need a calculator, etc. Much easier on my Mac or PC than it ever would be on the CoCo.

Besides games, things I find intriguing that others obviously do by looking at posts and all the cool stuff still being created are:

Hardware & Software Projects
Home Control

I'm not doing much in these areas currently, but I am using, testing and enjoying things that come out and supporting where I can.

I'm too entrenched in modern computing to give up anything important...the CoCo is a hobby for me.
