[Coco] Mechanical keyboard upgrades for the CoCo

Well, I know some that interface a CoCo KB to a Raspberry Pi using a custom made microcontroller circuit (I think it used the ATMEL Tiny85).

Yup, I even did a write up of it as part of a past CoCoFEST recap:

Scroll down to HawkSoft.

But, this is not what this discussion is about. Although if such an interface could be made going from CoCo KB to USB, I don't see it as being impossible to go from a USB KB to a CoCo going through some microcontroller circuit adapter (Arduino, etc). Salvador

It's not something I know how to do, but wouldn't a Raspberry Pi or an
Arduino
be a cheap way to interface a USB keyboard to a Coco?
