[Coco] MC6847 External ROM boards finally ready...

I got it now, but, by the way, I have at least seen photos of a CoCo 3 prototype board where the functions of the Gime were provided by discrete logic chips including I think the 6847. But yes, it was unique. I had forgotten how many chips the Gime replaced though.

Good point, I forgot the GIME replaced that chip (and some others, I think)…
