[Coco] vcc and WIDTH command when using HDB-DOS

Aaron, the "Starter Kits" work pretty well, though I do have a couple of things I want to change.
The only problem for now, is that the kits include installations for Vcc and DW4. In the "installer packager" that I'm using, there's no way to setup "downloadable" upgrades. I have another installer package that does allow this but has a much steeper learning curve as it's script language is pretty extensive.
I would rather do it that way... have the installer download the individual packages from the developer's sites so that it always has the current version. But until I learn the new packager, I'm including everything in the single download.
The unique thing about the Starter Kits, is that not only do they include VHD images and "some" disk images, they include the RS COCO manuals and the OS9 manuals as well. I've tried to make things as complete as possible.

About the only thing the user has to do other than double click the installer and follow the prompts, is that they have to mount the VHD images. I could find no way in the installer to do this. Other than that, even the defaults are set for each system in the emulators as well as dw4.


When I get the time, I want to finish out the Starter Kits with kits for the real Coco as well as kits for the new Mess w/Becker Port.

Bill has put together some nice prepackaged solutions that are basically
turnkey setups with step by step directions on using them.  That may be the
best way for someone to get started, since as you pointed out we have a
wide array of tools and versions.   Maintaining an accurate, current and
complete guide to all the possible configurations anyone might want to use
would be a daunting and never ending task.  Having the most common in ready
to go form is probably the best compromise.
