[Coco] Plague to DW users ?

Interesting, I'm a fan of the FTDI based devices and have been choosing 
those on purpose.  I have both a StarTech 4 serial port device, and on 
another machine a nice usb to serial cable from GearMo.  I specifically 
downloaded that FTDI update and both of my devices survived.  So perhaps 
StarTech and GearMo are using legit chips...
