I'd assume its sort of multisync, but the touch screen is a db9 for sure.
There are adapters, maybe even an adapter cable for sale. If I don't hear
from Roy, I'll probably check the shack tomorrow.
I need to make a mount for it as there is not a rear box, looks like the
rear is just shielded, and it has a couple of threaded hole, about 8-32"s
I think on each end of a heavy brace across the back. I could make a box
4" deep, or even just drill a piece of alu angle that would reach from the
shelf up to the top but haven't pulled out a tape measure yet. It works,
fussing about no video for about 30 secs and shuts down till the next time
its plugged in, so I believe it to be working.
I think I found the touch screens pinouts on the Elo site. Specs say 9600
baud 8n1 or something like that, so its fairly std in the regard. It has
about a 2 foot long 10 wire ribbon cable, terminated in a 12 pin dual row
header with one missing pin to serve as a keyway.
But first get it mounted... And before that, check the lcd's supply caps,
I think it could be brighter. Common problem for lcd stuff.
Cheers, Gene Heskett
