Depends on what mouse you have chosen.

It supports the standard joystick/mouse using the 6bit DAC.

It also suppors the hires mouse interface.

It should be stable if using the standard joystick although I have used 
it with the hires interface and it's stable there too... although I 
never had any problems with anything else either.
